Happy Exam, guys!

Hi guys! The exam is getting near... what can we do to pass the exam??

1. Study
Don't just study at night before exam... you'll make your brain exhausted
ith all those ''forced'' materials.

2. Take care of your health
Getting enough sleep, balance diet and if you can, eat a multivitamin to help your body systems

3. PRAY
This is a very important act to do. Remember, anything could be happen. Even if you are full prepared.

4. Checking
Check everything before go to the exam. For ex your student identity. This is very important, since you don't want to have less time of the exam just because you need to go to academic , right ?

And remember, To be fully prepared before the exam is better than procastinating it !

Study Comparative at Legato UM

Yayyyy!!!!! AEC finally made it to do their study comparative to another English Club in State University of Malang. The study comparative itself were held on Friday, 3rd May, 2013.

When we arrived at the Faculty of Letters, we were welcomed nicely by one of Legato’s member.

After that, we were directed to a room, called ESAC (English Students Access Center). We were very surprised because we didn’t have such a cozy place for students like English students in UM did. Actually, the room was very cool, yet comfortable indeed. There were reading room where we could read some popular novels like Harry Potter in English, listening room, culture corner where we could learn British, American, and Australian culture, and the most cozy room was video corner where we could enjoy movies and play some games like scrabble. How we wish we had cool place like that in FIA. :3

After short trip in ESAC, we were headed to a class room and we were welcomed by the Legato’s members. And then we started to do a presentation about our programs in English Club, both from AEC and Legato, and did sharing about it.

The hours passed by, and finally it’s time for AEC’s gang to went home. We took some pictures for a while before leaving. Thank you Legato UM for the knowledges and becoming our new friends. Hope we would meet again in another chance! :D

English Parade 2013

Annual event of AEC FIA Brawijaya, which is the 5^th English Parade held on Friday, 22 March 2013. Every year, we have different concepts and also theme. For this year we took “Pirate” as our concept and “Adventure, Treasure, and New World” as this year’s theme. We held Varsity Debate competition in British Parliamentary system (BP), we also have Speech contest for High school and also Paper presentation for varsity. This is a national scale of event, thus we have a lot of participants across the nation.

          The event opened by ‘pirate dance’ performed by SSM FIA Brawijaya. And then continue with opening ceremony, Technical meeting and Accreditation for N1 adjudicators. The next day, we begin the preliminary rounds in search for finalist which can go to the octofinal. And also we begin the speech competition, even, we have participant coming from Banjarmasin. And also we have paper presentation.

          On Sunday, we begun the octofinal rounds for the debate. And we still continuing the speech contest. For the debate in final round we have UGM B , UGM C, UGM D and Rahmatullah. For the champion we have UGM B.

          The event went up successfully, thank to our committee , Participants and last but not least for the sponsor itself that bring this event once again in 2013. So… would you like to join with us next year?
